Bakhoor & oud
Bakhoor & Oud Manufacturing in the UAE
Black Oud Factory produces private label bakhoor, oud chips, dehn al oud and incense blends at our Ajman factory, alongside our spray perfume lines. Blending, soaking, pressing, curing, jar and pouch filling and gift packaging all happen on the same site, under your brand, from 100 units per SKU.
Bakhoor is a craft product before it is a manufactured one: the grade of the wood, the resin and oil load, the maceration time and the way it is pressed decide how it burns and how long the smoke holds. Our compounders build to your brief — traditional Khaleeji blends, softer floral-musk profiles for gifting, or a bespoke house accord matched to your perfume line.
Bakhoor & Oud Products We Manufacture
- Pressed bakhoor bricks, tablets and crumbles in your chosen blend
- Oud chips (agarwood) soaked and coated to your fragrance specification
- Dehn al oud and mukhallat oils filled into tola bottles and roll-ons
- Attar and concentrated perfume oils blended in-house
- Incense gift sets pairing bakhoor with a matching mist or oil
- Home and fabric mists formulated to sit alongside a bakhoor line
How Bakhoor Is Produced at the Ajman Factory
1. Blend design
You choose a traditional Khaleeji profile, a reference product to match, or a bespoke accord. We propose two to four directions with different wood, resin and oil balances.
2. Compounding and soaking
Wood chips, resin, sandal powder and fragrance oils are weighed and combined, then soaked so the oil load carries evenly through the batch.
3. Pressing and curing
The blend is pressed into bricks, tablets or crumbles and cured so the scent settles and the burn profile stabilises.
4. Burn testing
Samples are burned on charcoal and on electric burners to check throw, smoke and hold time before the batch is approved.
5. Filling and packaging
Jars, tins, pouches and rigid gift boxes are filled, labelled and sealed, with foiling and printing done in-house.
6. Export packing
Cartons are palletised with export documentation for Gulf, European, Asian and African markets.

MOQ & Turnaround
Minimum order quantity starts at 100 units per SKU, so you can validate a line before committing to volume. Production lead time runs from about 2 weeks, scaling with order size — small stock-bottle runs move fastest, while custom moulds, foiling and rigid boxes add tooling and finishing time. Bakhoor is quoted by weight per unit — 40g, 50g, 70g and 100g jars are the most common retail formats.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the minimum order for private label bakhoor?
100 units per SKU, the same entry MOQ as our perfume lines.
Can you match an existing bakhoor I already sell?
Yes. Send a physical sample and our compounders work back from it, then send pressed samples for burn testing before production.
Do you supply the oud chips as well as the blend?
Yes. We source agarwood chips in several grades and soak or coat them to your specification, or supply them plain in branded packaging.
How long does a bakhoor order take?
From about 2 weeks after sample approval for stock jars, longer where curing time, custom moulds or rigid gift boxes are involved.
Can bakhoor be shipped internationally?
Yes. We palletise and prepare export documentation; some airlines and markets have their own rules on incense and oils, so confirm requirements for your destination.
Can you match a bakhoor to my existing perfume?
Yes — building a bakhoor, a mist and a spray perfume on the same accord is one of the most common briefs we receive.
