What drives the price per unit?
Juice concentration and raw materials, bottle and cap choice, decoration, packaging, and assembly. We quote each line separately.
Where is your factory?
Our Bakhoor Factory & Head Office is in Al Jurf Industrial Area, Ajman, and our Perfume Factory is in Sharjah. We host visits at the Ajman head office by appointment.
Do you fill perfume that I supply?
Yes, contract filling is available subject to incoming quality checks on your material.
Can you print and coat the bottles?
Yes — screen printing up to six colours, hot foiling, spray coating and acid frosting, all in-house.
Do you supply bulk perfume oil?
Yes. Concentrate, attar and oud oil are supplied in bulk from 5 kg per fragrance, as well as filled into branded bottles.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. We palletise, prepare export documentation and arrange air or sea freight worldwide.
Do I need a UAE licence to work with you?
To sell perfume in the UAE you need an appropriate trade licence and product registration; confirm current requirements with the relevant authority. Overseas brands buy from us on export terms.
Minimum order and starting a brand
What is your minimum order quantity?
For ready fragrances from our library, the minimum is 100 units per fragrance and per bottle size. For a fully custom fragrance developed from scratch, or production from your own formula, the minimum is 1,000 units per fragrance.
Can I start my own perfume brand with a small budget?
Yes. Most new brands start with 100 units of one or more ready fragrances in stock bottles. This keeps the first order small while you test the market. You can move to custom bottles, boxes or an exclusive scent once the product sells.
Can I order 100, 250, 500 or 1,000 bottles?
Yes. We quote for 100, 250, 500 and 1,000 units, and the unit price drops as the quantity rises. Fully custom fragrances start at 1,000 units.
Is the minimum per fragrance or for the whole order?
Per fragrance and per bottle size. For example, 100 units of Fragrance A in 50 ml and 100 units of Fragrance B in 100 ml is a valid order of 200 units. 50 units of A plus 50 units of B is not.
Can I order different fragrances in one shipment?
Yes, as long as each fragrance and bottle size meets its own minimum.
Can a new business order without perfume-industry experience?
Yes. Many of our clients are first-time founders. We guide you through samples, bottle and box choice, artwork and production, step by step.
Ready, twisted and custom fragrances
What is the difference between a ready fragrance, a twist and a custom fragrance?
A ready fragrance is an existing scent from our library, filled under your brand, from 100 units. A twist is one of our ready fragrances adjusted to your taste — for example stronger, sweeter, more oud or fresher — from 100 units. A fully custom fragrance is a new scent developed from scratch for your brand, from 1,000 units per fragrance.
Why is the minimum for a fully custom fragrance 1,000 units?
Building a new formula from scratch takes perfumer time, several sample rounds and dedicated raw-material purchasing. A 1,000-unit minimum makes that development worthwhile for both sides. For smaller runs, a twist of a ready fragrance gives you a distinctive scent from 100 units.
Can you match a fragrance profile I already have?
Yes. Send us a reference or describe the profile, and we'll suggest the closest ready fragrances or twists from our library. A full new formula is available from 1,000 units.
Can you manufacture using my existing perfume formula?
Yes. If you supply your own formula, we can produce it for you from 1,000 units per fragrance.
Who owns the fragrance formula?
Formulas, including twists, remain with Black Oud Factory. Your specific blend or modification is reserved for your brand and is not supplied to any other customer.
Which fragrance styles can you make?
Oud, musk, amber, Arabic, French-style, floral, fresh and gourmand profiles, as eau de parfum, perfume oil (attar), body mist, and oud and bakhoor products.
Can I test samples before production?
Yes. Sample development is USD 200 for up to 10 fragrances, and the full amount is deducted from your first production order. Courier is charged separately. Samples take 10–15 days.
Can I request changes after testing a sample?
Yes. Tell us what to adjust and we'll send a revised sample before production.
How do you keep batches consistent?
Every approved fragrance is recorded against your order, so reorders use the same formula, concentration and specification.
Private label and own brand
Can you manufacture perfumes under my own brand name?
Yes. We produce finished perfume with your brand on the bottle and box, ready to sell.
Can you print my logo on bottles and boxes?
Yes. We offer screen printing, hot-foil stamping and labels on bottles, and printed or foiled boxes. Packaging customisation starts from 100 pieces.
Can I choose my own bottle, cap and box?
Yes. Choose from our bottle catalogue and box range. Stock changes daily, so we confirm availability before quoting.
What is the difference between private label, white label and OEM?
White label is a ready fragrance and stock pack with your label — the fastest and lowest-cost route. Private label is your brand on a product built to your choices of fragrance, bottle, cap and box. OEM means we produce to your own formula, from 1,000 units per fragrance.
Can you help me launch a full collection?
Yes. Many brands launch with 3–6 fragrances. Each fragrance needs to meet its own minimum.
Price and quotation
How much does it cost to make 1,000 perfume bottles?
It depends on the bottle, cap, box, decoration and fragrance type. Send us your choices and we'll give you an itemised quote showing the fragrance, bottle, cap, box, label and filling, plus the total per unit.
Does the price include the bottle, cap, label and box?
Our quotes are for finished, ready-to-sell units, and every component is listed separately so you can see where the cost goes.
Does the price go down for larger orders?
Yes. Fragrance, glass, caps and boxes all get cheaper at higher volumes, so 500 or 1,000 units cost noticeably less per unit than 100.
What information do you need for a quote?
Product type, bottle size, number of fragrances, quantity per fragrance, packaging style and destination country. You can send these on the quote form or on WhatsApp at +971 56 625 4829.
Packaging
Do you make custom perfume boxes?
Yes. We make rigid, magnetic, double-door and cylinder boxes, gift sets and inserts, with printing and foiling, from 100 pieces.
Can you make a custom bottle shape?
Yes, with a dedicated mould from 10,000 pieces. Below that, choose from our stock bottle library.
Can you supply a complete ready-to-sell product?
Yes. We produce the fragrance, fill and cap the bottle, decorate it, pack it in the box and pack the cartons for shipping.
Lead time, documents and export
How long does production take?
Samples take 10–15 days. Production takes about 15 working days after you approve the fragrance, packaging and artwork. Custom moulds, foiling and rigid boxes can add time.
Do you deliver throughout the UAE and GCC?
Yes. We deliver across the UAE and ship to GCC countries. Dropshipping with neutral packaging is also available in the GCC.
Can you export internationally?
Yes. Shipping is quoted once your bottles, boxes, quantities and carton details are final. Import duties and VAT are paid by the importer.
What documents can you provide?
IFRA conformity certificate, EU allergen declaration, SDS, INCI list, COA, and GMP or other certificates on request, with no minimum quantity. Any certificate or testing fees are paid by the customer.
Can I reorder the same fragrance and packaging later?
Yes. Your approved specification is kept on file, so reorders match the first batch.
