Perfume Manufacturing MOQ & Cost Guide (UAE)
Our minimum order is 100 units per fragrance and per bottle size, and production runs about 15 working days after approval depending on quantity and finishing. Unit cost is not a single number: it is the sum of six components, and each one is a decision you control.
Rather than quote a headline price that changes the moment your specification does, we quote line by line. This page explains what those lines are so you can see where your money goes and where to cut it.

What Makes Up the Unit Cost
- Juice — concentration and raw materials. A 25% oud-heavy parfum costs far more per ml than a 15% fresh citrus.
- Bottle — stock glass is cheapest; a dedicated mould adds tooling cost amortised across the run.
- Cap and pump — plastic, coated, metallised or zamak, in ascending order of cost.
- Decoration — each print colour, foil pass, coating and frosting adds setup and per-unit cost.
- Packaging — folding carton, rigid box, insert and label, plus any cellophane wrapping.
- Assembly and packing — filling, capping, set assembly and export cartoning.
How to Reduce Cost per Unit
- Order more units of fewer fragrances to hit volume breaks
- Use a stock bottle instead of a dedicated mould for the first run
- Reduce print colours or replace foil with a single-colour print
- Choose a folding carton over a rigid box where positioning allows
- Lock the specification early — late changes mean re-sampling and re-setup
Turnaround Expectations
Fragrance development
Perfumers return two to four directions from your brief; timing depends on how many revision rounds you take.
Sampling
Samples take 10–15 days. Sample development is USD 200 for up to 10 fragrances, deducted from your first production order; courier is charged separately.
Production
About 15 working days after approval of fragrance, packaging and artwork, extending with quantity, custom moulds, foiling and rigid boxes.
Shipping
Road delivery inside the UAE, or air and sea freight worldwide with export documentation.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the MOQ for private label perfume in the UAE?
100 units per fragrance and per bottle size at Black Oud Factory. Each fragrance and bottle size must meet that minimum, but a first order can cover several scents.
How much does private label perfume cost per unit?
It depends on concentration, bottle, cap, decoration and packaging. We quote each line separately so you can see the trade-offs rather than a single headline figure.
How long does production take?
About 15 working days after approval of fragrance, packaging and artwork, increasing with quantity and finishing complexity.
Is there a cost to develop samples?
Sample development is USD 200 for up to 10 fragrances, and the full amount is deducted from your first production order. Courier is charged separately.
Do prices drop at higher volumes?
Yes. Juice, glass, caps and cartons carry volume breaks and decoration setup is amortised over more units.

Does the price include the bottle, cap, label and box?
Our quotes are for finished, ready-to-sell units, and every component is listed separately so you can see where the cost goes.
Does the price go down for larger orders?
Yes. Fragrance, glass, caps and boxes all get cheaper at higher volumes, so 500 or 1,000 units cost noticeably less per unit than 100.
