Perfume Manufacturing MOQ & Cost Guide (UAE)
Our minimum order is 100 units per SKU, and production runs from about two weeks depending on quantity and finishing. Unit cost is not a single number: it is the sum of six components, and each one is a decision you control.
Rather than quote a headline price that changes the moment your specification does, we quote line by line. This page explains what those lines are so you can see where your money goes and where to cut it.
What Makes Up the Unit Cost
- Juice — concentration and raw materials. A 25% oud-heavy parfum costs far more per ml than a 15% fresh citrus.
- Bottle — stock glass is cheapest; a dedicated mould adds tooling cost amortised across the run.
- Cap and pump — plastic, coated, metallised or zamak, in ascending order of cost.
- Decoration — each print colour, foil pass, coating and frosting adds setup and per-unit cost.
- Packaging — folding carton, rigid box, insert and label, plus any cellophane wrapping.
- Assembly and packing — filling, capping, set assembly and export cartoning.
How to Reduce Cost per Unit
- Order more units of fewer SKUs to hit volume breaks
- Use a stock bottle instead of a dedicated mould for the first run
- Reduce print colours or replace foil with a single-colour print
- Choose a folding carton over a rigid box where positioning allows
- Lock the specification early — late changes mean re-sampling and re-setup
Turnaround Expectations
Fragrance development
Perfumers return two to four directions from your brief; timing depends on how many revision rounds you take.
Sampling
Physical pre-production samples are produced and couriered for approval.
Production
From about 2 weeks after approval, extending with quantity, custom moulds, foiling and rigid boxes.
Shipping
Road delivery inside the UAE, or air and sea freight worldwide with export documentation.

Is there a cost to develop the fragrance?
Development and sampling are quoted with your project depending on how bespoke the brief is; white label from an existing formulation avoids most of it.
Do prices drop at higher volumes?
Yes. Juice, glass, caps and cartons carry volume breaks and decoration setup is amortised over more units.
